2.1. All quotations are based on the information provided by the customer and the conditions reasonably apparent when the quotation is prepared.

2.2. Quotations may be provided following an inspection, photographs, or information supplied by the customer.

2.3. If the actual condition of the property differs materially from the information provided, we reserve the right to discuss a revised quotation before proceeding with additional work.

2.5. Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

2.6. Any additional services requested outside the original agreed scope may incur additional charges. We will seek the customer's approval before carrying out chargeable additional work.

3.1. Prices will be communicated to the customer before work commences. Prices will specify whether GST is included, where applicable.

3.2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due within 7 days of completion of the service or by the due date stated on the invoice.

3.4. Any additional charges arising from a change in scope, unexpected site conditions, additional labour, or additional cleaning requirements will be discussed with the customer and approved before the additional work is undertaken.

3.5. If an invoice remains unpaid after its due date, we may issue payment reminders and take lawful steps to recover the outstanding amount and additional administration fees may be applied. Any interest or recovery costs will only be charged where legally permitted and applicable.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Delays

4.1. We request at least 24 hours' notice if a customer wishes to cancel or reschedule a booking.

4.2. Where a customer cancels or reschedules with less than 24 hours' notice, a reasonable cancellation fee may apply if disclosed before booking and permitted by law.

Any fee will reflect the reasonable costs incurred or losses suffered as a result of the cancellation.

4.3. If we need to cancel or reschedule due to severe weather, unsafe working conditions, equipment failure, illness, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will notify the customer as soon as reasonably practicable and arrange an alternative appointment where possible.

4.4. No cancellation fee will apply where we cancel a booking, except for any amount lawfully payable for services already provided or costs otherwise properly recoverable under the agreed terms and applicable law.

4.5. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption and communicate any significant delays.

5. Customer Responsibilities and Property Access

5.1. The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the areas where the services are to be performed.

5.2. The customer is responsible for ensuring that gates, access points, and relevant areas are accessible at the agreed appointment time.

5.3. The customer must inform us of any known hazards, fragile surfaces, existing damage, security requirements, restricted areas, or other conditions that may affect the work.

5.4. Where reasonably necessary, customers should move or protect fragile items, furniture, personal belongings, and valuables near the work area before our arrival.

5.5. The customer must secure pets and ensure that children and other occupants remain clear of work areas and equipment.

5.6. If we cannot safely access the agreed work areas, we may postpone or omit the affected work. Any resulting charges will be discussed with the customer and applied only where agreed and legally permitted.

5.7. Customers must not require our staff or contractors to undertake work that is unsafe or outside the agreed scope of service.

6. Residential and Commercial Window Cleaning

6.1. Our window cleaning services are intended to remove ordinary dirt, dust, water marks, and other removable surface contaminants from accessible glass and agreed window components.

6.2. The precise scope of work, including whether window frames, tracks, flyscreens, sills, or other components are included, will be specified in the quotation or booking confirmation.

6.3. We will use reasonable care when cleaning glass and associated surfaces. However, the final result may depend on the condition, age, accessibility, and type of glass and surrounding materials.

6.4. We cannot guarantee the removal of permanent staining, mineral deposits, paint, silicone, adhesive residue, oxidation, scratches, or other contaminants that cannot reasonably be removed through the agreed cleaning process.

6.5. Windows or surfaces that are inaccessible, unsafe to reach, or unsuitable for the cleaning method may be excluded from the service.

6.6. Commercial customers must arrange any necessary access permissions, site inductions, security clearances, and coordination with building management before the scheduled appointment.

7. Post-Construction Window Cleaning

7.1. Post-construction window cleaning may involve removing construction dust, plaster residue, paint spots, adhesive, silicone, protective film residue, and other building-related contaminants.

7.2 The Client must inform us prior to service of any coated, designer, tinted, or specialty glass requiring manufacturer-specific cleaning methods. Clean-It Adelaide is not liable for damage caused by undisclosed special glass requirements.

7.3. Construction debris and residue can create a risk of scratching or damaging glass during cleaning. Certain contaminants, including cement, mortar, render, concrete dust, metal fragments, and abrasive particles, may be difficult to identify or safely remove and may require the use of metal blades during cleaning.

7.4. Existing scratches, glass defects, fabrication debris, damaged coatings, and other pre-existing conditions may become more visible during or after cleaning.

7.5. Where appropriate, we may inspect the glass and surrounding surfaces before commencing work and notify the customer of visible concerns or risks.

7.6. If we identify a material risk of damage, we may recommend an alternative cleaning method, exclude the affected area, or decline to proceed until the customer and we have agreed on an appropriate approach.

7.7. Additional labour or specialist treatment required because of excessive construction residue or conditions outside the original quotation will be discussed with the customer and approved before the additional work begins.

7.8. We will exercise reasonable care and skill when performing post-construction cleaning. Nothing in this clause excludes our responsibility for damage caused by our negligence, failure to exercise due care and skill, or breach of applicable law.

8. Gutter Cleaning

8.1. Gutter cleaning services generally involve removing accessible leaves, debris, and other accumulated material from the gutters included in the agreed quotation.

8.2 Removal and re-installation of gutter guards is not included unless quoted separately. Excessive debris may incur additional charges.

8.3. The scope of service, including roof valleys, gutter guards, or debris disposal are included, will be confirmed before work commences.

8.4. Gutter cleaning is subject to safe access, suitable weather, roof condition, building height, and other site-specific safety considerations.

8.5. We may decline or discontinue work where roofs, gutters, ladders, access points, or surrounding conditions are unsafe.

8.6. We cannot guarantee that all blockages will be cleared where they are inaccessible, concealed, caused by structural defects, or require plumbing, repair, or specialist equipment beyond the agreed scope.

8.7. Gutter cleaning is not a roof inspection, waterproofing service, plumbing service, or structural assessment unless expressly agreed in writing.

8.8. We are not responsible for pre-existing gutter leaks, corrosion, loose fittings, damaged roofing, structural defects, or other existing conditions that are not caused by our work.

8.9. Any repairs or additional work required will be discussed separately and will only be undertaken if agreed and within our capabilities.

9. Solar Panel Cleaning

9.1. Solar panel cleaning involves cleaning accessible solar panel surfaces using methods considered reasonably appropriate for the panels and site conditions.

9.2. Customers must inform us of any known panel damage, electrical faults, access restrictions, manufacturer cleaning requirements, or other relevant safety concerns.

9.3. We may decline to clean panels where access is unsafe, panels appear damaged, or site conditions make the work unsuitable.

9.4. Solar panel cleaning does not include electrical repairs, system testing, inverter servicing, roof repairs, or other maintenance unless expressly agreed in writing.

9.5. We do not guarantee any particular increase in electricity generation, system efficiency, or financial savings following cleaning. Results depend on factors including panel condition, system performance, weather, shading, and the level of soiling.

9.6. We will take reasonable care to avoid damage during cleaning. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes our responsibility for damage caused by our negligence or breach of applicable law.

10. Safety and Weather Conditions

10.1. The safety of our staff, contractors, customers, and the public is a priority.

10.2. We reserve the right to postpone, modify, or discontinue work where weather, wind, rain, heat, electrical hazards, slippery surfaces, working-at-height risks, or other conditions make the work unsafe.

10.3. Customers must not interfere with our equipment or require staff to disregard applicable safety requirements.

10.4. We will use reasonable care when working around the customer's property and take reasonable precautions to minimise disruption.

10.5. If a service cannot be completed safely, we will communicate the issue and discuss available options with the customer.

11. Pre-Existing Damage and Property Conditions

11.1. Customers should notify us of any existing damage or defects affecting windows, glass, frames, screens, gutters, roofing, solar panels, or other areas before work commences.

11.2. Where reasonably appropriate, we may document visible pre-existing damage with photographs or written notes.

11.3. We are not responsible for damage that existed before our work commenced or for defects that were not caused by our services.

11.4. We are not responsible for damage resulting from hidden defects, structural weaknesses, deteriorated materials, faulty installation, or inherent product defects, except to the extent that such damage is caused or contributed to by our negligence, breach of contract, or other conduct for which we are legally responsible.

11.5. If damage is suspected during or after a service, the customer should notify us as soon as reasonably practicable and provide relevant details and photographs where available.

12. Service Quality and Complaints

12.1. We aim to provide professional services with reasonable care and skill.

12.2. If a customer is dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, they should contact us within 48 hours of completion, where reasonably practicable, and identify the area of concern.

12.3. We may request photographs, access to the affected area, or other reasonable information to assess the complaint.

12.4. Where appropriate, we may offer to inspect the affected area, rectify an issue, or discuss another reasonable resolution.

12.5. Customers must provide reasonable access for any agreed inspection or rectification.

12.6. A complaint should be raised promptly so that we have a reasonable opportunity to assess and address it. However, the 48-hour notification period does not limit or

remove any rights or remedies available to the customer under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

13. Liability and Consumer Guarantees

13.1. We will perform our services with due care and skill and in accordance with applicable laws.

13.2. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, pre-existing defects, inaccurate information supplied by the customer, or the customer's failure to disclose relevant hazards or property conditions.

13.3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

13.4. Where the law permits a limitation of liability or a remedy, any such limitation will apply only to the extent legally permitted and appropriate to the circumstances.

13.5. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Insurance

14.1. Clean-It Adelaide will maintain any insurance required by applicable law and any additional insurance that we have agreed to maintain in writing.

14.2. Details of relevant insurance cover may be provided to customers upon reasonable request, subject to applicable policy terms and confidentiality requirements.

15. Privacy and Customer Information

15.1. We may collect and use customer information, including names, contact details, service addresses, booking information, and payment records, for purposes such as providing services, managing bookings, processing payments, communicating with customers, and meeting legal obligations.

15.2. We will take reasonable steps to protect personal information and handle it in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

15.3. We will not sell customer personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers or other parties where reasonably necessary to provide our services, process payments, meet legal obligations, or with the customer's consent.

15.4. Customers may contact us to make enquiries about their personal information, subject to applicable legal requirements.

16. Photographs and Marketing

16.1. We may take photographs of work areas before and after cleaning for documentation, quality control, and complaint resolution.

16.2. Photographs that identify a customer, reveal private information, or are intended for advertising or promotional purposes will not be published or used for marketing without the customer's consent, unless otherwise permitted by law.

16.3. Customers who do not wish us to take non-essential photographs should notify us before work commences. This does not prevent photographs reasonably necessary for safety, service documentation, or legal purposes.

17. Subcontractors and Personnel

17.1. We may engage suitably qualified or experienced employees, contractors, or subcontractors to assist in providing our services.

17.2. We remain responsible for our contractual obligations to the customer, subject to these Terms and Conditions and applicable law.

17.3. All work will be undertaken in accordance with relevant safety requirements and any applicable licensing or regulatory obligations.

18. Force Majeure

18.1. Neither party will be responsible for a delay or failure to perform an obligation to the extent that it is caused by an event beyond that party's reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, widespread utility outages, or other comparable events.

18.2. The affected party will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and resume performance when reasonably practicable.

18.3. This clause does not remove any refund, cancellation, or other rights that may arise under applicable law.

19. Disputes and Governing Law

19.1. If a dispute arises, the customer and Clean-It Adelaide agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter through good-faith communication.

19.2. If the dispute cannot be resolved directly, either party may seek assistance from an appropriate consumer protection body, regulator, mediator, or court.

19.3. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia and the applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Australia.

19.4. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from exercising a legal right or seeking an available remedy.

20. Amendments to These Terms and Conditions

20.1. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices, or legal requirements.

20.2. The version applicable to a particular booking will be the version provided or made available to the customer when the booking is accepted, unless the parties subsequently agree to a change in writing or a change is otherwise required by law.

20.3. Any material change to an existing booking must be communicated to the customer and agreed upon where required.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with the accepted quotation, booking confirmation, and any agreed written variations, constitute the agreement between Clean-It Adelaide and the customer in relation to the relevant services.

If there is any inconsistency, the parties will interpret the documents consistently where possible, subject always to applicable law.
